D44 Toastmasters Leadership Institute "Crucial Conversations" Training

One of the most important aspects of being an effective leader lies in how they resolve conflict in their teams. When stakes are high, there is a difference of opinion, and emotions are strong it’s easy to fall into disruptive communication patterns that lead to hurt feelings and the inability to solve the problem. However, when leaders learn a framework like Crucial Conversations, it gives them a tool to use in order to have productive dialogues with their teams.

At the summer 2019 Toastmasters Leadership Institute, Speakers Roundtable members Ron Chapman and Natalie Gallagher, lead a Crucial Conversations training for Toastmasters officers so they could learn another powerful method for being effective leaders.
